Victoria Lawn Cemetery Pavillion, Rehabilitation Project

The Pavillion at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines is an important site that features the interments of Chinese Canadians from the Niagara region.  Help support the Chinese Cultural Foundation of Niagara’s rehabilitation project of this historic site.

Located in the City of St. Catharines, the Victoria Lawn Cemetery is the final resting place of generations of Chinese pioneers in the Niagara region. Buried here are Chinese railway workers from China who helped build the Canadian Pacific Railway over a century ago, as well as Chinese Canadians from the Niagara region.

To honour and remember these ancestors with respect and gratitude, we sincerely ask for your support of the Niagara Chinese Cultural Foundation’s plans to hold a memorial ceremony for the departed and to restore the memorial pavilion.
